The Bloom Story Organization

At The Bloom Story Organization, we are dedicated to empowering vulnerable children, one smile at a time. We believe in the magic of giving and the power of community. Apart from annually hosting a spectacular Christmas party for 100 children from 10 different orphanages, our mission goes beyond the festive season. We inspire hope and build dreams, reminding these children of their limitless potential through skills building and mentorship initiatives.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, we had the opportunity to provide relief for a few people.

The Bloom Party

The Bloom Party our primary social impact initiative at The Bloom Story Organization. 

It is an annual Christmas Party for 100 children from 10 different orphanages, where we bring them together for a day of joy and celebration.  We create an experience the cannot afford (for now) and leave them with something to look forward to in their future. Each child specifies exactly what gift they want for Christmas — no random presents! Alongside their personalized gifts, they enjoy nourishing meals, engage in fun activities, and receive a complete makeover, including new clothes and shoes. 

Some Bloom parties ago, a child was asked what she wanted for Christmas. "All I want is balloons" was her response. The response was shocking to us as it's common to see balloons discarded in hundreds after weddings and parties, yet this is what a child wanted as her Christmas gift. She got lots of these of course but it made us think more deeply about the things we take for granted. 

That's why we are excited to create these joyful experiences and lasting memories for children who often feel overlooked. We've done this for the last 8 years and are super pleased to see the children beaming with joy and the rippling impact of  inspiring hope, building dreams, and creating brighter futures for the children.
